Abstract

|
A 27 years old, primigravia, who was associated with osteomalacia was first seen in the obstetrics department of our hospital in Feb., 1974 for labor pain.
Osteomalacia characterized etiologically by calcium and vitamin-D deficiency in the adult and pathologically by softening of the-bone due to an excess of uncalcified osteoid tissue.
The diagnosis of CPD was made by , X-ray pelvimetry, and osteomalacia was found casuaIly. Normal baby was born as abdominal route.
We present this case with a brief review of literature.
